Kroger Feed App - Usage guide and Download help

Everything you need to know about
Kroger Feed App

The Kroger FEED app (officially calledย FEED Mobile) is Kroger’s official employee app, published by The Kroger Co. It is available free on theย Apple App Storeย (iOS) andย Google Play Storeย (Android). To log in, use yourย Kroger Enterprise User ID (EUID)ย and password โ€” the same credentials you use for the ESS portal and MyTime. Once inside, you can view your work schedule, check pay stubs, access employee discounts, read company news, and link to other Kroger HR tools. The app is used by overย 474,000 Kroger associatesย across all Kroger-family banners including Ralphs, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, Harris Teeter, and Smith’s.

If the app won’t open: update to the latest version, clear the app cache, and check whether Microsoft Authenticator is conflicting with the login screen โ€” a known issue with a simple fix explained below.

Only download from official stores There are third-party websites offering APK downloads of the Kroger FEED app. Do not use these. Your EUID and Kroger credentials should only ever be entered into apps downloaded directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Unofficial APKs are a security risk and may be outdated versions with known bugs.

You can also access FEED through a web browser at feed.kroger.com โ€” the desktop version has all the same content as the app, and for some tasks (like detailed HR settings) it works better on a full screen. The mobile app and the website use identical login credentials.

If you work at Kroger, the FEED app is the one thing you should have on your phone from day one. It’s not just a schedule checker โ€” it’s Kroger’s central mobile hub for everything from pay stubs and W-2s to employee discounts, company news, HR tools, and direct links to every other portal you need on shift.

The problem is that most employees either don’t know the app exists, can’t figure out how to log in, or hit one of several frustrating technical issues โ€” Microsoft Authenticator conflicts, blank login screens, passwords that expired without warning, or schedules that just won’t load. This guide covers all of it, step by step.

If you’re specifically looking for how to access your schedule from home, we have a dedicated guide on MyTime Kroger login and schedule access โ€” the FEED app is the mobile gateway to MyTime, and both guides complement each other.

What the Kroger FEED App Actually Is

FEED stands for nothing โ€” it’s not an acronym. It’s Kroger’s branded employee engagement and information platform, launched to replace a fragmented set of older portals (ExpressHR, Great People.me, MyLifeAtKroger.com) and consolidate the associate experience into one app.

Think of FEED as the front door to Kroger’s employee world. You don’t actually manage your schedule inside FEED โ€” schedules live in MyTime. You don’t directly update your HR profile inside FEED โ€” that lives in MyInfo. What FEED does is connect you to all of these systems through a single login, plus layers on top of them with Kroger-specific content: company news, CEO updates, associate stories, department pages, and direct links to the tools relevant to your role.

Important: the old portals are gone
If you’re searching for ExpressHR, Great People.me, or MyLifeAtKroger.com โ€” these have all been retired. ExpressHR and Great People.me were replaced by Feed.kroger.com as Kroger’s unified employee portal. Active Teamster associates lost access to MyLifeAtKroger.com in October 2025, with benefits enrollment moving into FEED. If you’re trying old URLs and getting errors, stop โ€” use feed.kroger.com or the FEED mobile app instead.

The FEED app is officially published by The Kroger Co. on both the App Store and Google Play. It was last updated in January 2026. It is trusted by over 474,000 active Kroger associates and covers all Kroger-family banner stores โ€” not just Kroger-branded locations.

How to Log Into the Kroger FEED App โ€” Step by Step

The FEED app uses Kroger’s Single Sign-On (SSO) system. That means your login credentials are shared across all Kroger employee platforms โ€” the same EUID and password works for FEED, MyTime, the ESS portal, and MyInfo. You only need to remember one set of credentials.
1
Open the FEED app
Tap the FEED icon on your home screen. The app will open to a login screen or redirect to Kroger’s SSO login page. If it opens to Microsoft Authenticator instead of the normal login โ€” see the Authenticator fix in the troubleshooting section below.
2
Enter your Enterprise User ID (EUID)
Your EUID is your unique Kroger employee username โ€” typically your initials followed by numbers (for example, jd12345). You received this during onboarding. If you don’t know it, your store manager or bookkeeper can look it up. Never guess โ€” multiple failed attempts will lock your account.
3
Enter your password
This is the same password you use on the store computers, the ESS portal, and MyTime. Kroger requires password updates every 83โ€“90 days. If your password has expired, you will be redirected to reset it before login is allowed.
4
Complete any additional verification
Some accounts require multi-factor authentication (MFA) via a code sent to your work email or phone. Complete the prompt when asked. Once verified, FEED keeps you logged in longer on mobile than it does in a web browser โ€” so you won’t need to re-enter credentials as often.
5
Set up biometric login for faster future access
After your first successful login, go to the app settings and enable Face ID (iPhone) or Fingerprint login (Android). This means future logins take one tap instead of typing your full credentials. Highly recommended if you check your schedule multiple times a week.
New employee? Your account may take 3โ€“7 days to activate If you were just hired and your EUID isn’t working yet, this is normal. Kroger’s HR system takes a few days to provision new accounts. Your store manager can check the account status. In the meantime, ask for your schedule directly from your department manager.

Every Feature Inside the Kroger FEED App Explained

Most employees use FEED for one thing โ€” checking their schedule. But the app does a lot more, and knowing what’s inside saves you a trip to the breakroom computer.

How to Check Your Kroger Work Schedule in the FEED App

Schedule management in Kroger’s system is handled by MyTime (the UKG-based workforce management platform). FEED doesn’t manage schedules directly โ€” it acts as the gateway to MyTime. Here’s how to get there:
1
Log in to the FEED app
Use your EUID and password as described above.
2
Tap the Schedule tab or find the MyTime quick link
On the home screen, look for a Schedule tab in the bottom navigation bar (visible for hourly associates). Alternatively, look for a MyTime quick link in the navigation menu. Some store divisions show the schedule tab prominently; others route through the tools menu.
3
Sign in to MyTime if prompted
Because FEED and MyTime are separate systems connected via SSO, you may be asked to authenticate again in MyTime. Use the same EUID and password. Once in, select My Schedule or E-Schedule to view your upcoming shifts.
4
Enable push notifications for schedule updates
In FEED Settings โ†’ Notifications, enable schedule alerts. Also go to your phone’s main Settings โ†’ FEED โ†’ Notifications and turn those on too. This way, when your manager posts a new schedule or a shift swap is approved, you’ll get a notification without having to open the app and check manually.
Schedule not showing? This is why If you log in and can’t see any schedule, it’s almost always one of three things: (1) You’re a new employee and it takes 3โ€“7 days for your schedule to appear in the system โ€” sometimes up to 3 weeks for first-time sync. (2) Your manager hasn’t posted next week’s schedule yet โ€” schedules are posted weekly at store manager discretion. (3) You’re looking at the wrong week โ€” check that you’re viewing the correct date range. Ask your department manager directly if none of these apply.
For a complete guide to MyTime including shift swaps, time-off requests, and availability changes, see our full MyTime Kroger login and schedule guide.

Viewing Pay Stubs and W-2s in the FEED App

One of the most practical uses of FEED on your phone is accessing your pay stub without needing a breakroom computer. Here’s how to find pay documents from inside the app:
1
Go to My Info โ†’ Pay
From the home screen, tap your profile icon or navigate to My Info from the main menu. Select Pay to access payroll documents.
2
Or use the ExpressHR quick link
On the FEED home screen, look for the ExpressHR quick link in the navigation bar or under your profile menu. This takes you directly to the pay stub section without navigating through menus.
3
Select your pay period and download
Pay stubs are listed by pay period date. Tap the one you need, then select View or Download PDF. You can share the PDF directly from your phone to your email, a tax preparer, or cloud storage.
4
For W-2s: navigate to Tax Documents
Under Pay, look for Tax Documents or W-2. Available from mid-to-late January each year for employees enrolled in paperless delivery. Download as PDF to file your taxes or send to your accountant. For the full W-2 guide, see: how to get your Kroger W-2 as a current employee.
Pay stubs appear Wednesday before payday Most Kroger hourly associates are paid weekly on Fridays. Your pay stub typically becomes visible in the portal โ€” and in the FEED app โ€” on Wednesday of that week, 2โ€“3 days before your direct deposit hits. If it’s Thursday and there’s still no stub, check with your store’s payroll coordinator.
For the complete pay stub guide including how to read each deduction line, see our guide on how to check your Kroger pay stub online.

FEED vs. MyTime vs. ESS โ€” Which Portal Do You Actually Need?

This is the most confusing thing about working at Kroger. There are multiple portals, they overlap, they have different names, and they changed significantly in the last few years. Here’s the definitive breakdown:
Task FEED App / feed.kroger.com MyTime / mytime.kroger.com ESS / ess.kroger.com
Check work schedule Via MyTime link โœ“ Primary โ€”
View pay stubs โœ“ Via ExpressHR link โ€” โœ“ Primary
Download W-2 โœ“ Via My Info โ†’ Pay โ€” โœ“ My HR section
Update personal info โœ“ My Info โ€” โœ“ Profile settings
Swap shifts Via MyTime link โœ“ Primary โ€”
Request time off Via MyTime link โœ“ Primary โ€”
Enroll in benefits โœ“ HR section (since Oct 2025) โ€” โ€”
Company news & updates โœ“ Home screen โ€” โ€”
Employee discounts โœ“ Associate Deals โ€” โ€”
Training & learning โœ“ Learning modules โ€” โ€”
Password reset โ€” โ€” Via IAM tool
The short version: FEED is your mobile home base and connects to everything. MyTime is where you manage your schedule specifically. ESS is where the core HR payroll data lives. All three use the same EUID and password. For a full walkthrough of the ESS portal, see our ESS Kroger login guide.

Password Expiry, Resets, and Account Lockouts

This is the number one reason employees can’t log into FEED. Kroger’s security policy requires password changes every 83โ€“90 days, and the system doesn’t always notify you clearly before it happens. One day the app works fine; the next day it doesn’t โ€” and the error message is vague.
Set a calendar reminder right now Whatever date you set your current password, add 80 days to it and set a phone reminder. Change your password before it expires to avoid being locked out mid-shift or on a day you urgently need to check your schedule.
How to reset your Kroger password:
1
Use the IAM self-service tool at a store computer (fastest)
The Identity Access Management (IAM) self-service tool is available on in-store computers and is the fastest way to reset without calling anyone. Visit the IAM portal from a store device, enter your EUID, and follow the prompts to create a new password.
2
Use the password reset option on the login page
On the FEED app or feed.kroger.com login page, look for Forgot Password or Password Help. Enter your EUID and follow the identity verification steps. This works remotely without needing to be in the store.
3
Call the Kroger IT Help Desk
If online reset fails, call 1-800-952-8889 ext. 47. Have your employee ID and store number ready. They can unlock your account and trigger a password reset. This is also the right call if your account was locked due to too many failed login attempts.
4
Ask your store manager as a last resort
Your store manager or bookkeeper has the ability to initiate a password reset through the admin tools. If you’re on shift and can’t get into FEED, this is the quickest in-person solution.

Troubleshooting Every Kroger FEED App Problem

These are the real issues Kroger employees run into โ€” pulled from App Store reviews, Google Play feedback, employee forums, and HR support documentation. Each one has a tested fix.
โŒ The FEED app opens Microsoft Authenticator instead of the login screen
This is one of the most reported FEED app issues on the App Store. It happens because Microsoft Authenticator was installed on your phone and FEED’s authentication system routes to it automatically, bypassing the normal EUID login page.
  1. Temporary fix: Uninstall Microsoft Authenticator from your phone, then open the FEED app. It will now show the normal EUID and password login page. Log in, then reinstall Authenticator if you need it for other apps.
  2. Permanent fix: Once logged in, configure your Kroger work email within Authenticator properly, so future FEED logins can route through it correctly.
  3. If this keeps happening after reinstalling Authenticator, contact the Kroger IT Help Desk at 1-800-952-8889 ext. 47 โ€” they can adjust your MFA settings in the system.
โŒ “Unable to access the authentication service” error
This error typically means the app can’t reach Kroger’s SSO servers. Work through these in order:
  1. Check your internet connection โ€” switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network issue.
  2. Close the app completely (swipe it away) and reopen.
  3. Go to your phone Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ FEED โ†’ Storage โ†’ Clear Cache (Android). On iPhone, offload and reinstall the app.
  4. Check if your device date and time are set to automatic โ€” incorrect device time disrupts authentication.
  5. If you’re using a VPN, disable it. Kroger’s authentication servers may block VPN IP ranges.
  6. Uninstall and reinstall the FEED app from the official store.
  7. If none of the above work, call 1-800-952-8889 โ€” it may be an account-level issue.
โŒ FEED app won’t open at all โ€” crashes immediately or shows a blank white screen
Almost always caused by an outdated app version or corrupted cache.
  1. Open the App Store or Google Play Store and check for a FEED update โ€” install it if available.
  2. Clear the app cache (Android: Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ FEED โ†’ Clear Cache).
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  4. Check that your phone’s operating system is reasonably up to date โ€” very old iOS or Android versions may no longer be supported.
  5. Try logging in via a mobile browser at feed.kroger.com as a temporary workaround while you troubleshoot the app.
โŒ “Invalid credentials” or “Login failed” โ€” but my password is definitely correct
This usually means one of three things:
  • Your password expired โ€” Kroger passwords expire every 83โ€“90 days without warning. Even if it feels recent, try resetting your password using the IAM tool or the Forgot Password link.
  • You’re entering your EUID wrong โ€” EUIDs are case sensitive and easy to mistype. Your EUID is typically lowercase initials followed by a number string. If unsure, ask your manager to confirm it.
  • Your account is locked โ€” too many failed login attempts will lock you out. Call 1-800-952-8889 ext. 47 for an unlock.
โŒ I can log in on the website (feed.kroger.com) but not the mobile app
This is a known issue reported in employee forums โ€” the app and the web portal occasionally have different authentication behavior.
  1. Uninstall and reinstall the mobile app (this resolves it in most cases).
  2. Make sure no VPN is active on your phone.
  3. Check that Microsoft Authenticator isn’t intercepting the app login (see fix above).
  4. Reset app preferences on Android: Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ three dots โ†’ Reset app preferences โ†’ restart phone.
In the meantime, use the mobile browser version at feed.kroger.com โ€” it has the same functionality as the app.
โŒ My schedule shows in FEED but the hours look wrong or a shift is missing
FEED pulls schedule data from MyTime in near-real-time, but there can be a sync delay. Wait 30 minutes and refresh. If the issue persists, log directly into mytime.kroger.com to see the source data. If MyTime also shows incorrect hours, speak directly with your department manager โ€” schedule changes sometimes take time to propagate through the system, and manual manager input errors do occasionally happen.
โŒ FEED is showing an error about expired or unavailable content
This typically happens when Kroger is doing server maintenance or a system-wide update. Check by trying to log in on a desktop browser at feed.kroger.com. If that also fails, the issue is on Kroger’s end and not your device. Wait an hour and try again. Kroger maintenance windows are typically scheduled overnight or on weekends, and outages are usually short.
โŒ I work at Ralphs / King Soopers / Fred Meyer โ€” do I use the same FEED app?
Yes, absolutely. There is only one FEED app and it covers all Kroger-family banners. Your EUID works across all divisions. When you log in, FEED places you in your division’s content area automatically based on your store assignment. If you transfer between banners, your FEED access updates to reflect your new division.

Kroger Employee Support โ€” Who to Call for FEED Problems

Kroger HR Express Help Desk: 1-800-952-8889 For account lockouts, login issues, and HR-related problems. For technical IT issues (app won’t open, authentication errors), ask for extension 47. Available Mondayโ€“Friday 7amโ€“midnight EST, Saturdayโ€“Sunday 7amโ€“9:30pm EST. Kroger Employee Service Department: 1-800-576-4377 For pay stub and payroll questions, W-2 issues, and general HR support. Same hours as above. Your store manager or bookkeeper For EUID lookups, account provisioning for new employees, and password resets that need to happen during your shift. This is almost always the fastest option when you’re physically at the store. For issues that can’t wait, you can also report a problem directly through the FEED app’s built-in feedback channel (Home โ†’ Service Now โ†’ Report an Issue), which was added in a recent iOS update.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Kroger FEED App

Is the FEED app the same as MyTime Kroger?
No, but they’re closely connected. FEED is Kroger’s employee engagement and information app โ€” it’s the mobile hub. MyTime is the workforce management and scheduling system. FEED contains a link to MyTime, so many employees access their schedule through FEED without realizing MyTime is a separate platform underneath. See the full MyTime Kroger guide for schedule-specific instructions.
Can I check my schedule in FEED without internet?
No. The FEED app requires an active internet connection to load schedule data from MyTime’s servers. There’s no offline mode. If you need to check your schedule without Wi-Fi, use your mobile data connection.
Does the FEED app work on tablets?
Yes. FEED Mobile is available for iPad on the App Store and works on Android tablets via Google Play. The interface scales reasonably well on larger screens, though it’s designed primarily for phone-sized displays.
Can I access the Kroger employee discount through FEED?
Yes. Tap the main menu and select Associate Deals to view current employee discounts and perks. This is one of FEED’s most practical features โ€” check it regularly as deals change. For the full list of Kroger employee benefits, see our Kroger employee discounts guide.
Why does FEED keep logging me out?
FEED’s mobile session lasts longer than a web browser session, but it does time out for security reasons. If you’re being logged out frequently, enable biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint) in the app settings โ€” this makes re-authentication seamless. Also make sure you’re using the latest app version, as older versions had more aggressive session timeout behavior.
Do I need to use FEED or is it optional?
The app itself is optional in the sense that you’re not required to install it on your personal phone. All the same features are available on store computers through the web portal at feed.kroger.com. However, the app makes it significantly more convenient to check your schedule from home, view pay stubs, and access HR tools without coming into the store. Most active Kroger employees find it worth having.
What happened to MyLifeAtKroger.com?
MyLifeAtKroger.com was shut down for active Teamster associates in October 2025. All benefits enrollment has moved into the FEED app and portal under the Human Resources section. Retiree Teamsters retain access to MyLifeAtKroger.com for retirement-specific benefits. If you’re an active associate, use FEED โ†’ Human Resources โ†’ Benefit Connect Enroll for any open enrollment.
Can former Kroger employees use the FEED app?
No. FEED access is tied to active employment status. Once you leave Kroger, your EUID is deactivated and you can no longer log into FEED. For W-2 access after leaving, use MyTaxForm.com (employer code 10575) โ€” see our complete guide on how former Kroger employees can access their W-2.
