Kroger ESS Login (ess.kroger.com): Pay Stubs, W-2 & HR Portal
Quick answer: how to log in to Kroger ESS
- Go to ess.kroger.com in your browser. The page is titled “Kroger Express HR” (ExpressHR).
- Sign in with your Kroger Enterprise User ID (EUID) and password. You may see “SecureWEB” or “Passport Express” on the sign-in screen; that is Kroger’s single sign-on.
- Once in, look for your pay stubs, tax forms and personal information.

What is the Kroger ESS portal?
ESS stands for Employee Self-Service. At Kroger, ess.kroger.com is the ExpressHR application, where associates manage pay and HR information themselves instead of going through a manager for every request. Kroger’s own FEED Mobile app describes ExpressHR as the place to check pay stubs and manage payroll and HR-related information.
Important: some associates report that Kroger moved their division from ExpressHR to MyInfo, and that ExpressHR access ended for them. If ess.kroger.com says you do not have access, try MyInfo or ask HR which portal your division uses.
You may hear older or informal names such as SecureWEB, Passport Express or “the HR portal”. They refer to the sign-in system or the same associate HR tools. The portal is for current associates across Kroger’s banners; your login comes from your employer.
ESS vs MyInfo vs MyTime vs FEED: which one do you need?
- ESS / ExpressHR (ess.kroger.com): pay stubs, payroll and HR information.

- MyInfo (myinfo.kroger.com): another associate portal address that many guides describe as the same HR hub. Kroger has not published a comparison, so use the link your manager or HR gave you, and if one address does not work, ask HR which to use. See our MyInfo guide.

Kroger also runs a separate sign-in at myhistoricalinfo.kroger.com. Its purpose is not publicly described, so only use portals your HR team directs you to.
What you need before logging in
- Your Kroger Enterprise User ID (EUID), given to you when you were hired.
- Your password. Kroger passwords are managed by Kroger’s single sign-on and may need to be reset from time to time.
- A current browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox) or the FEED Mobile app.
New hire and can’t log in yet? Accounts are set up as part of onboarding. Ask your store manager or HR when your access will be active.
How to log in to ess.kroger.com, step by step
- Open your browser and type ess.kroger.com in the address bar. Check that the address ends in .kroger.com before you enter anything.
- Enter your EUID and password on the Kroger sign-in page.
- Accept any terms or prompts shown for your division, then continue.
- Open the section you need, such as pay stubs or tax forms.
- When you finish, sign out, especially on a shared or public device.
What you can do in ESS / ExpressHR
Kroger describes ExpressHR as the place to check pay stubs and manage payroll and HR-related information. Depending on your division and role, that can include:
- Viewing current and past pay stubs.
- Finding tax forms such as your W-2 when they are issued.
- Checking or updating personal information and, where offered, direct deposit details.
- Reviewing benefits information provided through Kroger’s HR systems.
Scheduling is handled in MyTime, not ESS. What appears in your account depends on your employer’s setup, so if something is missing, ask HR.
How to view your pay stub
- Sign in at ess.kroger.com, or open the FEED Mobile app and go to ExpressHR from your profile menu or the ExpressHR quick link.
- Open the pay stub / pay section.
- Select the pay date you need and open or download the stub.

W-2 and tax forms
Current associates can look for their W-2 in ExpressHR when Kroger issues tax forms in early in the year. If you no longer work at Kroger, use our guide for former employees. It covers MyTaxForm.com and who to ask if you cannot get in.
Kroger’s general customer line (1-800-KROGERS) is for shoppers and is not the place to request employee tax forms. Ask your last store manager or HR instead.
Direct deposit and personal information
Where your division offers it, you can update direct deposit and contact details in ExpressHR. Menu names differ by division and can change, so look for a pay or personal information section. After a change, check your next pay stub to confirm it took effect, and tell HR if it did not.
How to reset your Kroger ESS password
- On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password (or the equivalent reset link) and follow the steps.
- If reset by yourself does not work, ask your store manager or HR to help or to contact Kroger’s associate help desk for you. The help desk contact for your division is normally in your onboarding materials or on FEED.
- After resetting, use the new password for the other Kroger associate tools that share your sign-in.
Don’t share your password, and don’t save it on a shared computer.
Troubleshooting Kroger ESS login problems
- “Invalid credentials”: re-enter your EUID and password carefully, check Caps Lock, and try a password reset.
- Page won’t load or shows an error: try another browser or a private window, clear your cache, and try again later. Some Kroger systems are not reachable from every network, so try your phone’s data or the FEED app.
- Account locked: wait a short while and try again, or reset your password. If it stays locked, ask your manager or HR.
- Sign-in loops back to the same page: allow cookies for kroger.com and disable extensions that block scripts.
- New employee: your access may not be active yet. Ask your manager.
- Something looks wrong or unfamiliar: stop and confirm the address ends in .kroger.com. Lookalike websites exist.
Former Kroger employees
